Welcome to The Back Room Tech – a blog that gives you answers to all the problems you’ve probably never run into!

My name is Aseem Kishore and I am a full-time professional blogger. Previously, I worked in the IT industry for over 15 years.

I graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, in 2002 with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am married to my wonderful wife Malini and live in Maryland.

In my free time, I enjoy time with my kids, reading, outdoor activities and getting more certifications under my belt.

I love blogging and currently run 4 tech blogs, including this one. Feel free to check out Online Tech TipsHelp Desk Geek, and Switching to Mac in your spare time.

Why The Back Room Tech?

The main purpose of this site is to provide readers with daily solutions to tough IT problems mostly related to the Windows and Linux operating systems.

We also write guides and tutorials on how to setup, configure and troubleshoot software and hardware that most IT techs have to use.

Can you email me questions?

Of course! The best way to contact me is via email at akishore[at]thebackroomtech[dot]com. Feel free to shoot me a question on any topic related to computers.

Sometimes I get a bunch of emails, so it may take a day or two to get back in contact with you. I’ll be incorporating technical forums into my blog eventually.

Can I write articles for The Back Room Tech?

Absolutely. Contact me and I’ll email you instructions on what I’m looking for and how to get started. While it will be difficult to select everyone, if you have a flair for technology, Windows, servers, hardware and the like, you’ll be a great fit!
