Bobby

Are these Groupwise system distribution groups, or are they personal groups created in the Groupwise client? If they are personal groups, are they shared?

What version of Groupwise 6.5 is the backend and the clients? I've seen maaany strange things with distribution lists lately.

Julie:
I have a question: It isn't necessarily related to this "direct" issue overhead, though I couldn't find any post to match it exactly on your blog postings. I work for a company using GroupWise 6.5 and recently we have discovered a small issue with our distribution groups. It seems each time we create a distribution group (my associate actually creates them) and mail is sent to the newly created DG, duplicate mail is sent to each user. Do you or anyone else know why every distribution group created sends 2 copies of the mail to the users within that group???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
