Vista won't start - windows won't run. Everytime that I get a new vista update, the system goes unstable and I have to do a reset to an earlier date. Vista - BAH. Give me my XP back. I'm really PO'd at MS and Dell (my wife and I bought identical computers - three months apart - Dell wouldn't load XP for me even tho the wife's computer came loaded with it and its been H*LL getting the two to network. I finally had to buy "Network Magic" to make the two work together, but its still not up to the standard I'd prefer. I'd just like to buy a new computer and have it work for more than 14 months.

Theres nothing wrong with Vista! :p

It is one of the most stable operating systems I’ve ever used! The only people who arent satisfied with Vista are the tech experts who think it doesnt have enough functionality.

Anyway great find! HHahha. its made my day

Yes there are additional Vista SP1 prerequisites.

Check out Microsoft KB935509, KB937287 and KB938371. Also, make sure all your device drivers are up to date. Automatic Updates will not deploy SP1 if it detects incompatible drivers on your system.
