However if you are sticking with MS then boot from the install disk &amp; run the repair.
If this fails check the hardware, remove memory in pairs or a stick at a time as per the hardware configuration and try to reboot. Try another HD, check the fans etc
My experience is that this sort of thing is caused mostly by hardware faults.</description>
